Exciting New Projects at A4A
Action for Advocacy is delighted to launch two exciting new projects funded by the Department of Health.
The first is the IMHA Learning from Experience Project, designed to develop and disseminate best practice in IMHA provision, including facilitating regional IMHA networks. The new Project Manager, Collette Byrne, starts in mid-July so watch this space!
The second project is a joint project with Action on Elder Abuse (AEA). The Advocacy and Financial Abuse Project aims to explore the role that independent advocacy can play in preventing financial abuse. It will map current approaches as well as establishing a best practice framework for the future. Sally Wells will be the Project Manager for this new project and will be starting work in early July. Both projects are funded for 3 years, through the Department of Health Third Sector Investment Fund.
